Home Design 2014 - Trends, Ideas and Predictions

iNet Buzzer - We're finally entering the first Quarter of 2014. This year I'll start to cover some trends in Home Design and Decor. This is important since we do like to get new design every year to accomplish our Home Sweet Home term.

In this first post, I'd like to make a starting article which tells you about Trends, Predictions and Ideas for Home Design in 2014. This post will be a guide to you who wants to build your first home and also as resources for whom who like to make renovations.

Home Design and Decor 2014

1. Black color will replace Gray

Although Gray is still wanted but Black color will be the trend in 2014. In a polling conducted by homeowners, 74 percent of them are like a black room. It is suitable for Bathrooms, Kitchens and some interior parts.

2. Palette Pairings

The Oldest is still life in millennium, yup... the Palette Pairings in 80's with dark, blue, green or purple colors are still attractive.

3. Metal Back-splashes

For Kitchen Remodeling, the use of Metal Back-splashes material is more liked then Tile. People are increasingly select Metal tiles for their kitchen base, using stainless steel as it makes easier to clean.

4. Grassy floor

People are now a wear of Green World, so as for the city area more an more people adapt the green life by adding a grass to their floor. The Grass is one of the biggest adapted plant because it's simple to growth and look great.

5. Woods are always there

Wood material will still remain, as for flooring and wall. It will add a warm filling to your home decorations. And make it blend to any natural environment. The Hard Wood is still be the best material for flooring, but some technology find that a hard fiber plastic can replace the wood for some reason.

6. Techno remote your living room

Smart TV, Remote theater, cool sound system, Game console, Karaoke, WiFi and all of techno will be trends on 2014. This geeks will fill up your Living room, so you can sit and relax and use your remote to access the one for all entertainment.
